The waistband of the skirt does not stretch, the leaves are sewn together over lengths of cotton rope, which you use to tie the skirt at the back. The leaf part of the skirt measures 88cm wide at the waistband and 62cm long. Really novel and a little bit different from the usual grass skirt or sarong. Perfect for Tarzan's Jane!
